We got a reply to are post on the VOC website. A nice man is selling off his current Volvo to by a newer one. Got stick with a Volvo. Anyway he was keen to help us out and was pleased his volvo would go on to do a great feet.
So off to pick up the Volvo it’s a 1974 970 V6 Auto, V6 come on, thats what i’m talcking about

Volvos for all
So me and my best mate also a fanatical Volvo fan went on the hunt for a Volvo for under £150 that could do a 1200 mile long journey. Well that should be easy.
The Volvo gods were not looking after us after much searching of eBay and AutoTrader we started to panic, not got long felt before the rally. My mate went on to the Volvos Owners Club website and put a plea out for help.

In the begining
So signed up and eager to get going on the project, we went on the hunt for a car. People how know me, know that I will always try and include two things in any project; Red Bull and Volvos. This looked like the first project that both would be useful :-)

Staples 2 Naples Rally

Staples2Naples is the original and European banger rally. A banger rally is pretty much as it sounds you buy a banger that costs less then £150 with an MOT that you think can make it to Naples.
So I call up my best mate out of the blue and say we going on a banger rally. Here is the diary of the event.
